arcserve-KB : UDP | UDP Console is not accessible due to failure connecting to Arcserve UDP database

Description:
UDP Console is not accessible as it reports the following error 


Error Message:
Failed to connect to database. Verify that the Arcserve UDP Service and database are running. Confirm the database Configuration settings are correct.​



Environment:

Arcserve UDP 6.0 Update 2


Findings: wso2carbon.Log: [location: C:\Program Files\Arcserve\Unified Data Protection\Management\IdentityServer\repository\logs]
TID: [0] [IS] [2017-10-16 09:32:07,292] ERROR {org.wso2.carbon.user.core.util.DatabaseUtil} -  Database Error - The TCP/IP connection to the host SBACK0001, port 62485 has failed. Error: 'Connection refused: connect. Verify the connection properties, check that an instance of SQL Server is running on the host and accepting TCP/IP connections at the port, and that no firewall is blocking TCP connections to the port.'. {org.wso2.carbon.user.core.util.DatabaseUtil}

Description for the SQL Log Error

Solution:
The following SQL Query has to be executed: 

ALTER DATABASE MSDB SET SINGLE_USER WITH ROLLBACK IMMEDIATE
ALTER DATABASE MSDB SET ENABLE_BROKER
ALTER DATABASE MSDB SET MULTI_USER

After the above query is run we need to restart arcserve  UDP services  and  UDP console will be accessible.
