Last Update: 2016-11-23 16:25:32 UTC
Description:
The Virtual StandBy VM which is on ESXi Environment is in Production and it is no longer used by Virtual Standby. Is it possible to Delete all the Snapshots for this VM?

Solution:
Yes, the snapshots can be deleted from the VMware Snapshot Manager while the Virtual Standby VM is up and running.

Note:-
1. If you Delete All snapshots, all the Session and Bootable Snapshots would be deleted. Once the session snapshots and bootable snapshots are deleted, the BMR from Virtual Standby VM would not be supported.
2. If you delete bootable snapshot alone, then you would not be able to boot the VM.

Select 'Delete All' from the VMware Snapshot Manager to delete all the Snapshots.
