When we goto help and check for updates we get the following popup message


Check D2DUpdates.log under C:\Program Files\CA\ARCserve D2D\Logs

Symptoms: Updates are trying to connect to old server rmdmdownloads.ca.com.
Correct server to connect for updates is downloads.arcserve.com

Solution:
  • Stop D2D Web service 
  • Access D2DPMClient.xml file under C:\Program Files\CA\ARCserve D2D\Update Manager
  • Select to open in notepad
  • Replace rmdmdownloads.ca.com with downloads.arcserve.com
  • Start Arcserve D2D Web service
