Arcserve RHA for Linux supports source machines running RHEL 6.6 and CentOS 6.6. Arcserve RHA now supports the latest versions of the two popular Linux operating systems.*
Configure connection protocol for AWS
When using Amazon EC2 as a target for full system HA scenarios, customers can configure the connection protocol - SSLv2, SSLv3, TLSv1, TLSv1.1 or TLSv1.2. Rest assured your data is safe with an industry standard secure transfer protocol of your choice.
Support SSD & Encrypted EBS in AWS
When provisioning Amazon EC2 replica, customers can choose an instance with SSD and/or an Encrypted volumes. Utilize the latest hardware configurations on Amazon EC2 to ensure your servers cater to demanding business needs.
Change network card type in VMware as FSHA target
In a VMware vSphere target, customers can choose a custom network adapter like VMXnet3. Configure highly available VMs on VMware vSphere and utilize the latest in virtual networking technologies.
Some critical issues & bugs reported by customers since Arcserve RHA 16.5 SP4 have been fixed. The full list of fixes is available via the release notes here.
*For customers running RHA on IBM AIX or Sun Solaris operating systems, support for Update 5 will be announced at a later date when it becomes available.
