Problem Description
Title: WIN-VARIOUS PROBLEMS WITH BACKUP AFTER 16.5 SP1
Description:
                  This fix addresses a number of problems after the
  release of ARCserve Backup 16.5 SP1:
 
 
  1. T55Z032 - EXCHANGE 2013 DOCUMENT LEVEL BACKUP
  HANG
 
  Exchange 2013 document level backup hang.
 
  This fix can also be applied to Exchange 2010 if
  a hang occurs.
 
  This fix has to be applied on both Exchange
  servers and ARCserve servers.
 
 
  2. T55Z037 - MASTER JOB CRASHED ON SPANNING TAPE
 
  After applying R16.5 sp1, GFS rotation job will
  crash when spanning tape. The following message
  is seen in the activity log:
 
  "E2252 Master Job #[ ] ID[ ] has been crashed,
  cancelling child job (ID=#).
 
 
  3. T51H122 - MEDIA NOT ASSIGNED TO SAVE SET POOL
 
  For a staging GFS job with migration to tape,
  after the migration job finishes, the media is
  not assigned to the save set of media pool.
 
 
  4. T51H123 - DM JOB FAILS WITH E3843
 
  Data Migration job tries to write to a staging
  group, and fails with error message:
 
  "E3843 The disk staging group (xxxx) can't be
  used as the data migration job's destination
  group".
 
 
  5. T55Z042 - OVERWRITE MEDIA NAME DATE/TIME
 
  After SP1, backup global option "Overwrite same
  media or blank media " will format media with
  default media name which is date/time. The
  proper default function should be for ARCserve
  Backup to format media with original media name.
 
  After applying this fix, ARCserve Backup will
  revert back to formatting the tape with the
  original name. If you want the media to be
  formatted with date/time please set the following
  registry:

  6. T58E221 - MULTISTREAM NOT SELECTABLE GRAYED
  OUT
 
  After applying SP1, multistream option within the
  GUI grayed out. After applying this fix,
  multistream option will be selectable.
 
 
  7. T4C4126 - HYPER-V VM NOT POPULATED IN DB
 
  Failed to populate Hyper-V VMs into ARCserve DB.
 
 
  8. RO70382 - MISSING LOCAL OPTION UNDER HYPE-V
  SYSTEM
 
  When trying to create a backup job using Virtual
  Machine Agent, "Local Option" menu under
  "Microsoft Hyper-V system" is not displayed in
  tree view. As a result, backup job runs with raw#
  mode by Global Option setting but it fails
  because it cannot connect to Client Agent with
  "Local Option" setting.
 
 
  9. T245894 - RESTORE FROM UDP/D2D OR VM AGENT
  CORRUPTED
 
  a. When the file level restore completes
  successfully, the restored files are corrupted.
  This problem frequently occurs when restored from
  the following
  backup sessions:
 
  CA ARCserve UDP/D2D Agent for Windows
  CA ARCserve UDP/D2D Proxy Servers
  VMWare Systems (using VM Agent)
  (It may occur on the "CA ARCserve UDP Recovery
  Point Servers" session, too )
 
  b. Very long pathnames are recorded in the
  following messages in Image000.log for the debug
  mode, and the log file enlarges much:
  "Skipping file <very long repetitive path name>
  as path is too long"
 
  The pathname is repetitive and wrong like
  "\Documents and Settings\Adminis\Documents and
  Settings\Administra\Documents and ..." in the
  message.
 
  c. The following error occur on some machines in
  the file level restore job for the VM agent
  session:
  AE0559 There was an error restoring at file level
  from the Image mode backup of the VM. (EC=-1)
 
 
  10. T51H117 - JOB HISTORY SHOWS WRONG SIZE
 
  After a NAS backup, MB size of NAS volume in job
  history view is incorrect.
 
 
  11. T56P015 - GFS JOB HISTORY FAIL TO EXPAND
  GFS job history fails to expand.
 
 
  12. T56P017 - JOB HISTORY SHOWS INCORRECT SIZE
  Job history shows incorrect MB datasize
 
 
  13. T5Y4019 - INCOMPLETE JOB HISTORY VIEW
  In the Job history tab only part of the Jobs are
  filled in with statistical data. With CA HBBU
  integrated backups, there is no detail
  information at all.
 
 
  14. RO70779 - -RESTORED FILES CORRUPTED FROM D2D
  AGENT BACKUP
  When the file level restore from the backup data
  of ARCserve D2D destination completes
  successfully, the restored files are corrupted.
 
  This problem occurs if the backup was taken with
  r16.5sp1 of CA ARCserve Backup from the "CA
  ARCserve UDP/D2D Agent for Windows" node in the
  backup manager source tab.
 
  ***Note: Please take new backup after applying
  this fix to resolve this problem. This fix does
  not correct the data that has already been backed
  up!
