PROBLEM RESOLUTION SECTION: Follow the instructions below:
The following PREREQS must be applied before applying this fix:
 UPDATE1

This fix requires CA ARCserve D2D Release 16.5 Update1 and Virtual
Standby\Host Based VM Backup 16.5 update 1 to be installed.

Virtual Standby: This patch adds support for Windows 2012 R2
Hypervisor to be used as a Virtual Standby destination hypervisor.

If you want to use Hyper-V as the Virtual Standby destination, this
fix should be installed on the hypervisor (i.e. the physical machine
which has hyper-v role enabled, which also acts as VSBmonitor).

If you want to use VMware vCenter/ESX as the Virtual Standby destination
this fix should be installed on the machine which acts as Monitor/Proxy.

 Host Based VM Backup:

Note: Windows 2012 R2 as proxy is not yet supported with this patch as
VMware is not supporting VDDK on Windows 2012 R2.

For the Host Based VM Backup, this fix should be installed on the
 proxy server.
