How to find out which version of SharePoint 2010 is installed on the server?

Solution:

1. Go to the SharePoint server

2. Open the registry (Type Regedit in start/run and hit enter)

3. Now look for these within the registry key HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Shared Tools\Web Server Extensions\14.0\WSS\InstalledProducts.
