Last Update: 2017-01-13 00:01:37 UTC

This document will guide you step-by-step on how to exclude File/Directory from replication under master root directory.

  • Under master root directory, right click on the folder path in which the file/directory needs to be excluded and click on 'Exclude File/Subdirectory'.

  • Click on the + sign next to the folder path under which we need to exclude the file or folder.

Add the folder name or file extension which needs to be excluded in the list.

The above steps doesn't exclude the folders during replication --BUT-- if you right click on the Root Directory-> Browse and Select Directories, In the Master Root Directories -> Directory Filter (Dropdown) -> Exclude Directories -> give the names or wild chard of directory (delimited by space for multiple exclusion) -> Click Apply -> Click Ok; now it excludes

I am not sure how it makes a difference cause the outcome on the UI using both the methods looks alike except the method listed in the KB allows you to edit directly wherein the method I listed wont. Very confusing UI !!!
