Title:  How to Generate ARCserve Installation Disks/DVD

Description:

How can I generate ARCserve Install DVD's by myself?

Solution:

BAB can be downloaded in an ISO format from the Support site support.ca.com.
Download ARCserve R12 SP1 All-in-one DVD image file.

You will then get an ISO image representing of a DVD including the content and the logical format and with this file you can burn a DVD.
Common utilities for writing ISO file to recordable media such as DVD-R include Nero and Roxie.
After following the DVD burning process for ISO images, you are ready to install or upgrade ARCserve R12 SP1 on your computer.
Now simply insert the DVD created above into the computer to which you plan to install and click on
SETUP.EXE to begin the installer.

Also the contents of image files can be used as virtual discs using utilities such as ISObuster, Daemon Tools or Virtual CloneDrive
