CA ARCserve D2D requires that you configure the backup settings before you run the backup job. These settings let you specify behaviors such as, backup source and destination, schedule, any pre or post backup operations. However, due to generic or specific environmental configurations (such as destination disk, network latency, etc.) a backup job may fail. CA ARCserve D2D provides logs and messages that help you identify and quickly resolve the problems by using specific troubleshooting tools and techniques.
