The Next scheduled backup time and the last backup time in the CA ARCserve D2D Home Page are not showing the correct time. When the job is running, even the Job Status Monitor would show the wrong time. The time displayed is different and is of a different time zone than that of the System Time, but the backup runs at the correct scheduled time as configured in the Backup Settings.
Say for example:-
If the job is scheduled to run at 01:00 AM in the Backup Settings, then the Next scheduled backup time on the CA ARCserve D2D home page would be displayed as 10:00 AM.
If the System Time is 01:00 PM and if a job runs at that time; then it would display the time as 10:00 PM in the Job Status Monitor.
The Java Virtual Machine (JVM) reads the System Time Zone from the registry. In some cases it fails to get the correct value from the registry.
Please do the following to update the Windows registry value:-
1) Double-click on the windows clock in the lower-right corner of the screen.
2) Click on the Time Zone tab. Change the timezone to a different one, Click OK.
3) Change the timezone back to the correct one, Click OK.
4) Restart the CA ARCserve D2D Web Service.
